Speaker Biographies

David A. Brinker World Long Drive Champion, Hirzl Golf
David has been a long drive competitor for the past 18 years.  His long drive journey began in 2004 at the Long Drivers of America tour Qualifying School in Dallas. He began his long drive career at the age of 53.  He captured the interest of seasoned long drivers by earning his LDA tour card on his first attempt.  He recorded the 3rd longest drive of that competition with a distance of 399 yards. In addition, David is a regular at the United States Senior Long Drive Championships. His longest drive in competition is 413 yards.

Jake ColdironSandals Vacation 
Jake Coldiron is the national manager of golf sales for Sandals and Beaches Resorts. He has been with the company for 12 years. He recently relocated to Miami from Denver to work out of the corporate office and be closer to his family. Jake is a scratch golfer and is very passionate about golfing, traveling, and his job.

Former Golf Channel Academy Coach, Certified Level 3AimPoint Instructor, Advanced Certified by the SeeMore Putting Institute, Certified Titleist Performance Institute Instructor, Author of Drill Your Way to Great Putting, Certified in Instruction by the Professional Golfers Association, Former on-air Instructor at Back9Network. He has developed and coached many competitive players including Division 1 collegiate players, PGA Latino American Tour, European Challenge Tour and local amateur champions. George does not try to fit students into a model but develops your ability to hit better shots, shoot lower scores and have more fun.

Jason DeSombre Select Physical Therapy
Jason is a Graduate of Ithaca College Physical Therapy Program and joined Select Physical Therapy in 2014. Jason's interest for athletics and sports medicine has directed most of his career and continuing education. Jason has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has gone through certification in four tracks from the Titleist Performance. Jason currently consults with two universities, three junior golf programs and provides medical screens for several gyms for their athletes.

Dr. David Hergan Middlesex Health
Dr. David Hergan is the orthopedics ection chief at Middlesex Health. He is fellowship-trained and certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in both orthopedic sports medicine and orthopedic surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery for the shoulder, hip and knee.

Dr. Terry Reardon Middlesex Health
Dr. Terry Reardon, an orthopedic surgeon at Middlesex Health, is fellowship-trained in sports medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and specializes in advanced arthroscopic techniques related to sports medicine.
